After closing due to the Coronovirus Pandemic, Vitality Fitness Tests and Vitality Check will be able to resume as Discovery Stores as of 1 September 2020.
The stores are open from today 1 September. Communication is planned for this week. Clients can book online or call the central booking line which opens at 8am.

Vitality Health Check max 22 500 Points – that is made up of 5 measures, including blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, a weight assessment and signing a non-smokers declaration. An optional HIV Test is included in your Vitality Health Check booking. Clients in good shape can earn up to 22,500 points for Vitality Health Check, if all results in range. Cost – FREE for most. Members of most medical schemes administered by Discovery Health are covered for one Vitality Health Check a year from your Screening and Prevention Benefit – it won’t impact your day-to-day benefits
The Vitality Fitness Assessment max 7 500 points – that is made up of two parts – the first part measures your cardio-vascular fitness and the second measures your strength and flexibility. It has been designed to give you an accurate and personalised understanding of your fitness. After the Vitality Fitness Assessment, your biokineticist will show you what you need to focus on in order to get fitter and stronger. The test cost R445 and Vitality members can earn up to 7500 of there 30,000 annual fitness points in one test.
